HELPFUL TIPS TO EASILY REGISTER!

If you are having issues checking out and registering for an event or completing your purchase, we are sorry for your inconvenience. Please use the easy information below to help solve the puzzle.

 

HAVING ISSUES CHECKING OUT?

If you are having issues checking out due to account issues, you will need to log into your account before you start the check out process.  There are two options to do this:

  1. At the top of the check out page, you will see at the top of the page, Returning customer? Click here to login. Click on the link to show the login form. See image below.
  2. If you do not login before starting the Billing details form, you will be asked for Email address, Account username and to create a password.  If you fill out these fields and already have an account, you will get an error that you already have an account with us.  If this happens, go to the top of the check out page and click on the link, Click here to login and put your login details there and and click the Login button at the right.  Once you are logged into your account the extra fields for new customers will not show.
  3. You can also click on the Lost your password link under the login fields if you do not remember your password.  You can also refer to instructions below to update your password.

The other option to log into your account is to click on the My Account link at the top of the purple menu bar and use the Login box on the left to log into your account.  Once you have successfully logged into your account, you can go back to the shopping cart page or the check out page to complete your registration or purchase.

If you are having issues on the Checkout page, you can scroll to the top of the page to find any errors.

Common errors include:

  1. We are now requiring a Registration name on the Checkout page.  Please add the name of the person Registering for the event in the box on the right side of the Checkout page under the Additional Notes.
  2. There is a Terms and Agreements check box across from the Place Order button.  Be sure this is checked.
  3. If you are using a Phone or Tablet, please try to register with a computer if one is available.  If a computer is not available, make sure you have a strong WiFi, Internet or Phone signal when you try to register.

HOW TO CREATE A NEW PASSWORD

If you have an account and just need to request a password, click here. Then fill out the box with your account email and click the ” RESET PASSWORD” button.  Due to security reasons the passwords from your original account could not be moved over to the site.

Watch for an email from WordPress or info@jodunningevents.com. It has the link to reset your password. If in a few minutes, if you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder or your Promotions folder if you use Gmail.

You can also search for emails from info@jodunningevents.com in your email box to see if you can find the password re-set instructions.

Once you change your password, give our computer system 5-10 minutes to catch up with the change before you use it. It is very busy right now with excited people all wanting to register at the same time.

PLEASE NOTE: To be sure you receive our emails you can add info@jodunningevents.com to your email address book or contacts list.

The computer system will give you an auto generated password. You only need to use it once to get into your account. Then you can change this password to something easier to remember. You do not have to keep the auto generated password.

ONCE YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR PASSWORD

Logging into Your Account

Once you have successfully changed your password, you can log into your account on the home page by clicking on My Account or by clicking here:

If you are not able to login with the new password, wait a 5-10 minutes for the system to re-set and try logging in with your new password.

NOT RECEIVING EVENT EMAILS

If you are not receiving event emails with event Contact Information, please check your spam or junk folders.  If you have a Gmail account, the information may be in your Promotions folder.  You can also search your email box for emails from info@jodunningevents.com.  To be sure you receive our email in your inbox, you can add our email address, info@jodunningevents.com, into your address book or contact list.

STILL HAVING A PROBLEM?

If you get the message that your email address is already taken, it means you already have an account and just need to reset you password. See those directions above.
